Hard Canton refers to Guangdong Shuangxi brand hard-shell cigarettes.

"Double Happiness" was founded in 1906 and is affiliated to Guangdong China Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd. In 2005, "Double Happiness" was awarded the title of "China Famous Brand Product" by the China General Administration of Quality Supervision. In 2008, "Double Happiness" was rated as "China's Well-known Trademark".

In 2010, the "Double Happiness" brand was integrated with the "Good Day" brand of Shenzhen Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd., and "Good Day" became a series of products under the "Double Happiness" brand. In 2011, the "Double Happiness" brand and the "Double Happiness" brand of Shanghai Tobacco Group were integrated into the "Double Happiness·Double Happiness" brand.
