The ISO9000 standard is the general term for quality management and quality assurance. The second edition was launched in 1994, and the third edition was launched in December 2000, officially promulgating the ISO9000:2000 edition. The original ISO9000:94 certificate will be automatically invalidated on December 15, 2003.
