The difference between anti-counterfeiting label printing and ordinary trademark printing

1. Differences in production processes. Ordinary self-adhesive label printing is generally relatively simple, and the finished product only needs printing and die-cutting. The production process of anti-counterfeiting labels is much more complicated. General digital anti-counterfeiting labels need to go through multiple processes such as printing, inkjet coding (or ribbon printing), code checking, UV (or peritoneal), scraping ink, and die-cutting. Labels with advanced anti-counterfeiting functions require more processes, including aluminum washing, holographic positioning and ironing, and holographic security thread covering. Such numerous processes also result in the market price of anti-counterfeiting labels being much higher than that of ordinary self-adhesive prints. 2. The production equipment is different. Ordinary self-adhesive printing factory equipment generally has a printing press and a die-cutting machine. Anti-counterfeiting label printing factories need to have a variety of equipment such as printing, inkjet printing, printing, code checking, screen machines, laser aluminum washing machines, etc. 3. Differences in yield. Due to the simple process of ordinary self-adhesive products, the product yield is very high, generally reaching more than 98%. Due to the complex process of anti-counterfeiting labels, the yield is low, generally only about 90%. 4. Safety management measures are different. Ordinary stickers are easy to print, so they don’t pay much attention to the safety management of labels. Since anti-counterfeiting labels are difficult to counterfeit and the risk of counterfeiting is high, some criminals will start from anti-counterfeiting label printing factories, instigating factory employees to steal the labels and purchase them at a high price. Therefore, anti-counterfeiting label printing factories generally have relatively strict safety management measures, from employee access management to workshop probe monitoring.
