What is the application procedure for a Greek trademark?

Procedure for applying for Greek trademark:

1. The trademark applied for registration will be reviewed in terms of form, registrability and whether it is confusingly similar to the previously used trademark. The review result is Announced at the hearing. If the application contains errors or deficiencies, the applicant is required to amend and correct it. Once the Trademark Office accepts the application, it will be published in the official announcement. If no objection is raised within 7 months of the announcement or the objection is not established, the trademark can be registered.

2. If the application is rejected after review, the applicant has the right to file a defense within 15-20 days.

3. According to the law, trademark application, opposition or cancellation application shall be submitted to the administrative court by the applicant. If the administrative court does not accept the application, the applicant can file a review with the court of second instance within 30 days. If the application is still not accepted, the applicant can file a lawsuit with the Supreme Administrative Court of Greece within one month.
