(1) The huge trade balance between China and the United States is the direct cause of Sino-US trade friction. According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce, in 2007, US-China trade in goods was US$386.75 billion, an increase from 2006 12.8%. Among them, US exports to China were US$65.24 billion, an increase of 18.2%; imports from the US were US$321.51 billion, an increase of 11.7%. At the same time, the U.S. trade deficit with China reached US$256.27 billion in 2007, an increase of 10.2%, accounting for 31.4% of the total U.S. goods deficit in the same period. The amount and proportion of the deficit were both in the same area. The phenomenon is serious. These have seriously affected the interests of the United States and become one of the causes of trade frictions. The asymmetry in the interdependence between the economies of China and the United States determines that Sino-US trade friction will inevitably become a norm and will not disappear in the short term. Our country must take effective measures to eliminate factors that trigger Sino-US trade frictions, maintain the healthy development of trade between the two countries, and strive to minimize the frequency and harm of Sino-US trade frictions. (1) Actively utilize the WTO dispute settlement mechanism. One of the significances of China's accession to the WTO is that it will help resolve international trade disputes between China and other countries through the WTO trade dispute settlement mechanism in the multilateral trading system. We should be familiar with and adapt to the WTO and other international trade rules, actively use the WTO multilateral mechanism to safeguard our own rights and interests in actual combat, avoid and respond to various possible accusations, and be in a favorable position in trade frictions. When dealing with trade frictions with the United States, we must make full use of the WTO trade dispute settlement mechanism to safeguard our country's economic rights and interests. (2) Strengthen consultations between the two governments. Strengthen regular and irregular talks between the Chinese and American governments, timely exchange information and opinions on economy, science and technology, and proactively resolve trade disputes.

(4) Encourage domestic enterprises to invest abroad. The implementation of this strategy can not only improve my country's industrial structure

but also alleviate trade frictions. In order to reduce the trade friction caused by the continuous growth of my country's export volume in recent years, we can expand exports through overseas investment. This is a development strategy that export companies must pay attention to. This is an effective measure to enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises and reduce trade friction between China and the United States. (5) Accelerate the implementation of intellectual property strategies, cultivate independent brands, and improve corporate competitiveness. Whether it is to obtain a stable market share or to improve economic benefits, companies should start by improving product quality, forming personalized competitive advantages of products, and building international brands of products. Judging from the long-term development trend of enterprises, shaping brand image, enhancing the credibility of Chinese products in the world consumer market, and adopting a brand competition strategy are the way out.
