Isuzu Jidōsha Kabushiki Kaisha (Isuzu Jidōsha Kabushiki Kaisha) is a Japanese automobile manufacturing company. Its head office is in Tokyo, Japan. It integrates manufacturing and assembly. Its factories are located in Fujisawa City, Tochigi Prefecture, and Hokkaido, Japan. , famous for its production of commercial vehicles and diesel internal combustion engines.

In Showa 9 (1934), mass production of automobiles began based on the standard model of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (now the Ministry of International Trade and Industry), and the trademark "Isuzu" was named after the Isuzu River next to Ise Jingu Shrine. After the trademark and company name were unified in Showa 24 (1949), the company name "Isuzu Motors Co., Ltd." has been used ever since.

As a symbol of international development, the company logo uses the Roman letters "ISUZU" through modern design to become the logo. In December 2018, the World Brand Laboratory released the "Top 500 World Brands 2018" list, with Isuzu ranked 420th.

The predecessor of Isuzu Motors was the Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipyard established in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo in 1916. The A9 sedan was produced in 1922; in 1933, the company merged with the Dash Automobile Company. In 1937, the company merged with Tokyo Gas & Electric Industrial Company and Kyoto Domestic Company to form Tokyo Motor Industry Company. In 1949, it was renamed Isuzu Motors Company.

The company produces many types of vehicles and is a major manufacturer of heavy-duty and light-duty trucks. Its sedan brands include Gemini and Yuma.
