Ted, the purpose of this meeting is to "spread all ideas worth spreading". TED was born in 1984 and was founded by Richard Saul Warman. From 200 1, Chris Anderson took over TED, founded the Sapling Foundation, and ran the TED conference.

The history of TED conference
Today's TED conference is actually born out of the TED conference established by 1984, and it is an exchange conference in the fields of technology, entertainment and design. Its founder is Richard Wurman. In fact, this big coffee, known as the "father of information architecture", had the idea of founding this conference as early as six years ago.
However, the TED conference held by 1984 lost money. It was not until 1990 that the TED conference gradually got on the right track. As an annual conference held in Monterey, California, the TED conference has been a great success.
With the development of time, speakers from all walks of life began to join the TED conference, including scientists, philosophers, musicians, businessmen, religious leaders and philanthropists.
