The Red Scarf Medal’s Moral Chapter is written as follows:
The Integrity Chapter means to be an honest and trustworthy person, treat others with sincerity, be good at discovering role models around you, and be good at learning from others. Learn from others and participate in a Young Pioneers activity about integrity. If you do this, you can get the integrity seal. The Unity Badge can be obtained by knowing how to be grateful, respecting and caring for the elderly, caring and loving the collective, and being willing to contribute to the squadron. If you have a strong sense of collective honor and a sense of unity, you can get the Unity Badge.
For the Service Badge, you can get the Service Badge if you often help students in need, stick to small positions in the group, and have the awareness and ability to serve others.
Notes:
The Young Pioneers organization should educate team members to care for the red scarf, keep it clean and flat, and dress neatly when wearing it. Team members in lower and middle grades of primary school wear small red scarves, while team members in upper primary school and junior high schools wear large red scarves. Taller players in lower primary school and middle grades can wear large red scarves. Young pioneers should treasure their red scarf and team badge when they leave the team.
Young Pioneers must wear a red scarf when participating in Young Pioneer rallies and activities inside and outside the school, as well as important ceremonial activities such as flag-raising ceremonies, opening ceremonies, and graduation ceremonies. You do not need to wear a red scarf when participating in sports activities, productive labor or resting at home. When the weather is hot, you may not wear the red scarf temporarily, but you should wear the team badge.
Young Pioneers counselors should wear large red scarves when participating in Young Pioneers gatherings and activities. When the Young Pioneers activities invite relevant leaders, guests and other adults to participate, the leaders and guests should wear large red scarves.
The red scarf and its name may not be used for trademarks, commercial advertisements and commercial activities. Young Pioneer organizations, Young Pioneers, and Young Pioneer counselors at all levels are not allowed to purchase or use red scarves that do not comply with regulations.
