What does the pending review of trademark cancellation registration mean?

This means that someone else filed a trademark cancellation application for not complying with the provisions of the Trademark Law. The Trademark Office made a decision in accordance with the law, and the party concerned was dissatisfied and filed for review. This is what you call "trademark deregistration review."

"Pending review" means still "awaiting review", that is, "the review of trademark cancellation registration is pending review."

Legal basis: Article 54 of the Trademark Law

If the party concerned is dissatisfied with the Trademark Office’s decision to revoke or not revoke a registered trademark, he or she may, starting from the date of receipt of the notice, Apply to the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board for review within fifteen days. The Trademark Review and Adjudication Board shall make a decision within nine months from the date of receipt of the application and notify the parties in writing. If there are special circumstances that require an extension, it can be extended for three months with the approval of the industrial and commercial administration department of the State Council. If the party concerned is dissatisfied with the decision of the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board, it may file a lawsuit with the People's Court within thirty days from the date of receipt of the notice.
