Gongshu District, which belongs to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is located in the central part of Hangzhou, with a total area of 119 square kilometers. By 222, Gongshu District has 18 streets, 54 (village) economic cooperatives and 174 communities under its jurisdiction.

Gongshu District is named after Gongchen Bridge and Hushu Villa. In May 1949, the eighth district of Hangzhou was changed to Gongshu District. In February, 199, the former Mid-Levels were merged into Gongshu District. Yihang Railway, National Highway 32 and National Highway 14 pass through the territory, and the entrance of Hangning Expressway, Hangzhou North Station and Hangzhou North Bus Station are all located in Gongshu District.
