At first glance, I thought it was from the Flower Dance of the Tang Dynasty series. Later, after reading it carefully, I realized that it turned out to be Dunhuang elements. In fact, for me, I like them all, whether they are in the Tang and Spring style of flower dance or in the style of Dunhuang murals. This is a small gift that a friend brought back to me when she visited Dunhuang for the first time. She knew that I like cultural and creative things. Therefore, I have always regarded this bookmark as a unique existence and a symbol of friendship.
Actually, I don’t think this bookmark looks good. Frankly speaking, if I were asked to choose, I would probably not choose this bookmark. The design is a bit ordinary.
But, I think, many times, when something touches you, it’s not how beautiful or good it is...? Maybe it’s the emotion related to it that touches you in an instant. In your heart, you will like or be moved.
So, I cherish this camel bookmark as a gift from a friend.
