Singapore Trademark Registration Procedure:
1. The applicant (or his agent) submits an application form to the Trademark Registration Office and pays the specified fee.
2. After receiving the application form, the Trademark Registry will review the application to ensure that the application complies with the relevant provisions of the Trademark Ordinance. If after review it is determined that the application does not comply with the provisions of the Trademark Regulations, the Trademark Registry will issue a report stating the reasons why the trademark cannot be registered.
3. If the trademark registration application is deemed to have no problems after review, an advertisement for the trademark registration will be published in the government gazette.
4. Anyone can object to the registration application of the relevant trademark within two months after the advertisement is published. If no objection to registration is received, the Trademark Registry will officially register the trademark.
5. Finally, the Trademark Registry will issue a registration certificate to the applicant.
