How to identify the quality of floor tiles?

1. Check whether the color of the ceramic tile body is pure. This trick is very simple. It mainly observes whether the color of the back of the tile is even and consistent. Better quality ceramic tiles have uniform and well-proportioned body colors.

2. Observe whether the particles on the cross section of the ceramic tile are fine. Consumers should note that the cross-section mentioned here does not refer to the cutting surface around the ceramic tile, but to the break of the ceramic tile fragment. Generally speaking, those with fine fracture points, hard and brittle parts, and consistent color are top grade. Because ceramic tiles with fine particles have strong waterproof capabilities; while ceramic tiles with larger particles are prone to moisture infiltration, affecting their quality.

3. Pay attention to the thickness of the glaze layer. The glaze of ceramic tile is what we call the entire surface of the ceramic tile, and the thickness of the glaze layer is the thickness of the cross-section of the glaze. Glaze is the most expensive material in the cost of ceramic tiles. The thicker the glaze layer, the better the natural quality.

Fourth, listen. Tap the tile lightly and listen for a crisp sound. If the sound is clear and pleasant, it is a top quality product; if the sound is dull, it is a poor quality product.

5. Test the waters. Consumers can pour some water on the back of the ceramic tile and observe how quickly the ceramic tile absorbs water. After a few minutes, check to see if the marks left by water on the front are obvious. Ceramic tiles that soak slowly after the water is dispersed are denser and the water marks are not obvious, so they are considered top quality.

6. Take two bricks back to back and face to face to see if they are in close contact and there is no excessive gap to determine whether there is warping.

7. Apply the ink on the surface and then scrub it for an hour to see if there are any traces. Those without traces are good bricks, and those with infiltration will not be selected

8. Take two bricks Brick Measurement: If there is no deviation in the geometric length, width and diagonal dimensions of the two bricks, it is a superior product

9. You can refer to the test report issued by the national or industry testing agency provided by the merchant and compare the following Indicator data: identification and comparison of water absorption, abrasion resistance, acid resistance and pollution indicators.
