Watch the line
To get the fishing line, first look at whether the packaging instructions and data indicators meet the standards. Then open the outer package for visual inspection. No matter what color the fishing line is, the surface of the line must be shiny (except braided line), the transparent line cannot be colored, and the colored line cannot be white. If there are colors in the fishing line that do not match the natural color line (except those colored during production), there must be something wrong with the quality of the fishing line. In addition, find a standard fishing line at one end and compare it with the fishing line you want to buy to see if the number of lines is the same or close, the difference is not big, or the lines are the same, then the fishing line is ok. If the difference is large, it is definitely not a good fishing line, because some inferior lines can only maintain a certain tension by increasing the line diameter.
sideline
When buying fishing line, first pull out a section of line, lightly stroke it with your fingers, and check whether the thickness of fishing line is even and the surface is smooth by hand. Then you can put the fishing line in the palm of your hand, squeeze it a little, and then release your palm to check the recovery of the fishing line after being stressed. If it recovers quickly in a short time, it is a good quality fishing line. If the recovery is slow or the original line cannot be recovered at all, it must be a poor quality fishing line. In addition, a good fishing line should be very soft, especially the soft line as the secondary line, which has many benefits. When the fishing line has the same diameter, the softer the better.
test
It is the most effective identification method to try the fishing line when fishing. When fishing, after the fishing line is soaked in water, you can try its water absorption. The surface of fishing line is rough, the material density of making line is not enough, and the waterproof protective layer is not effective. During use, the fishing line will absorb water. Once the fishing line absorbs water, the sensitivity of the line group will decrease, which will affect the normal spread of fishing season. A good fishing line should not absorb water. Wear resistance is also one of the standards to measure the quality of fishing line. Some lines need some small accessories (such as drifting seats). ), fishing needs to be adjusted repeatedly, so these accessories attached to the fishing line should always rub the fishing line up and down when adjusting. If the quality of the fishing line is not good, it will soon be hairy or bifurcated, which will affect the original tension of the fishing line. In addition, after the fishing line is knotted, the higher the strength, the better the quality. When fishing, the line group should tie knots on the fishing line as needed. Generally, the fishing line will be knotted, and the tensile strength will be reduced, while the fishing line with good quality will be reduced to a limited extent, and the fishing line with poor quality may be reduced to less than 30% of the tensile strength before knotting, so when trying out, first tie a knot and pull it gently to check the strength.
Fishing line maintenance 1. After each fishing, clean the water stained with fishing line with dry cloth in time, because there are many water components in fishing waters, including a certain amount of oil, salt, alkali, acid and other components. If the water containing these components is not dried, the fishing line will be corroded and the strength will be reduced.
2. Gently wind the clean fishing line on the reel, and try to make the fishing line loose, not tight, because long-term stress will make the fishing line lose its original elasticity.
3. It is best to choose a circular winder. All sides of a square winding machine are right angles. If left for a long time, the strength of the bending point of the fishing line will be reduced, and the released fishing line will be angular.
4. All fishing lines are stored in dry, dark and pollution-free places to avoid deterioration and aging due to moisture.
5. When going out fishing, don't put the reel wrapped with fishing line with other sundries to avoid scratching the fishing line, and don't put grease on it.
6. If the color of the fishing line is found to have changed, faded, yellowed, etc. Or brittle, indicating that the fishing line has aged or begun to age, and it should be replaced in time. You must not take any chances, leaving the hidden danger of breaking the line and running away.
