What is the application process for North Korean trademarks?

The process of applying for a North Korean trademark includes review-announcement-objection. The applicant submits the trademark application documents to the North Korean Invention Committee, and the North Korean Invention Committee conducts a formal review of the trademark application documents. If there are problems with the application documents, or If the trademark application documents are incomplete, the North Korean Invention Committee will notify the trademark applicant in writing, and the trademark applicant needs to modify and complete the submitted trademark application documents within 3 months after receiving the written notification. If the trademark application documents are not completed within the specified time, Modifying and completing the trademark documents will be deemed as abandonment of the trademark, and the North Korean Invention Committee will reject the trademark application. After the trademark passes the formal examination, the North Korean Invention Committee will conduct a substantive examination of the document. If the trademark registration application passes the substantive examination, the North Korean Invention Committee will issue a registration certificate within 6 months from the date of application. If the applicant's trademark application is If the application is rejected, the applicant needs to submit a review application within 3 months from the date of rejection.

The registered trademark will be published in the official announcement. Anyone can raise objections to the trademark. If there is no objection or the objection is not established, the trademark will be approved for registration.
