The large-scale production of modern Dukang wine began at 1972. In order to make up for the regret that former Japanese Prime Minister tanaka kakuei praised "Du Kang is the only wine in the world" but could not taste Dukang wine, Premier Zhou Enlai personally instructed to "revitalize Du Kang and win glory for the country", so Dukang wine was built in Yichuan and Ruyang. In the 1980s and 1990s, Dukang Liquor was purchased by the General Office of the Central Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to entertain central leaders and receive distinguished guests at home and abroad. It also sells well in Henan, Beijing, Tianjin and other markets all over the country, and is exported to dozens of countries and regions such as Japan and South Korea. However, due to the "Iran-Du Kang War" triggered by the trademark "one registration and more use" in, the development of Dukang wine fell into a historical trough, and the brand value was seriously diluted.
