I went to Jiuhua Mountain the day before yesterday and bought Jiuhua Buddha tea with the trademark "Shenguangling". It tastes good. Is there a difference between Jiuhua Buddha Tea and Huangshan Mao Feng?
Jiuhua Buddha tea is also very good, and looks like middle-class Mao Feng, so it is also called Jiuhua Mao Feng and Huangshixi Mao Feng, which belongs to the category of green tea. Its predecessor was Jiuhua Mao Feng, and it is most famous for its Minyuan Mao Feng in Minyuan Garden in front of the mountain and Huangshi Mao Feng in Huangshixi in the back of the mountain, while Jiuhua Mao Feng can be traced back to Jiuhua Tea in Song and Ming Dynasties. Jiuhua Buddha tea is a famous tea in history. Historically known as Minyuan Tea and Huangshixi Tea, now collectively known as Jiuhuashan Buddha Tea, it is produced in Jiuhuashan, a Buddhist holy place, and adjacent areas in the north and south of Jiuhuashan Mountain range. The main producing areas are located in Xiaminyuan, Huangshixi and Temple Front.
Jiuhua Buddha tea is slightly curved, even and neat, yellowish in color, long in aroma, full of firepower, bright yellow-green in soup color, fresh and mellow in taste, and soft and even in leaves.
Mao Feng of Huangshan Mountain, produced in Huizhou District of Huangshan Mountain, is slightly curly in shape, resembling the tongue of a sparrow, yellow and green, with silver hair exposed, and the fish leaves are golden yellow (commonly known as golden slices). The cup bubble makes the fog top, the soup is light and yellow, the leaves are yellow and green, the taste is mellow and sweet, the aroma is green and the charm is long.
Jiuhua Buddha Tea and Huangshan Mao Feng are both good teas with their own characteristics.
