Can China Merchants Bank's credit card be repaid in US dollars if it costs Canadian dollars?
China Merchants Bank's credit card costs Canadian dollars, so it can't be repaid in US dollars.

In fact, the repayment of foreign currency transactions can be divided into three situations, namely, the repayment of foreign currency consumption in RMB, the repayment of RMB-to-USD bills, and the repayment of USD-to-USD bills:

1. Repayment of foreign currency transactions:

(1) Entry of RMB and foreign currency consumption (no US dollar bills): after the entry of RMB and foreign currency consumption, any foreign currency transaction of the user will be automatically converted into RMB (the conversion exchange rate is the exchange rate on the transaction entry date), and it is only necessary to return RMB according to the RMB bill.

(2) Non-US dollar foreign currency transactions will be converted into US dollars through international credit card organizations (in the above process, international organizations such as VISA and MasterCard will charge 1.5% foreign exchange handling fee). China Merchants Bank will convert the converted US dollar amount into RMB according to the exchange rate on the bookkeeping date (the selling price of China Merchants Bank in US dollars announced after 10:00 on that day) and record it in the RMB bill.

2. Repaying US dollar bills with RMB (repayment by purchasing foreign exchange from US dollar bills): When your foreign currency consumption has already generated US dollar bills, you can choose to enable US dollar bills to purchase foreign exchange for repayment. After opening, your RMB repayment will be automatically converted into US dollars, and your US dollar bill will be repaid first (the exchange rate is the exchange rate on the day you pay), and the repayment after the US dollar bill is paid off will continue to repay your RMB bill.
