Different banks have different requirements for reporting overdue credit reports. Generally speaking, a credit card will be reported for about 1-3 days if it is overdue. Currently, banks have varying degrees of grace periods for credit card repayments. As long as the loan is repaid within the grace period, overdue records will not be reported to the central bank and will not cause overdue payments. The bank will determine that the repayment is on time and will not affect your personal credit score. If the loan is not repaid after the grace period, it may be uploaded to the central bank's personal credit reporting system, affecting your credit reporting.
How long will it take for the bank to call me if my credit card is extended?
1. SMS collection. Mainly aimed at early cardholders who have overdue repayment behavior, usually 7 to 15 days overdue, the SMS reminder function is mainly used.
2. Telephone collection. If the payment is overdue for more than 30 days and exceeds one settlement period, the bank will call to remind the user to pay.
3. Door-to-door collection is mainly when the card is overdue for more than 90 days. The bank will arrange for collectors to come to the cardholder’s residence or work address to collect the money.
4. If the credit card is overdue for more than 6 months, the bank will file a lawsuit with the court to require repayment.
5. If it is overdue for more than one year, the bank will package the overdue amount, give it to an outsourced collection company at a discount, and teach the person in charge to collect the overdue debt.
