In order to further implement the regulatory requirements, Bank of China strengthened the transaction restrictions on real estate merchants. At present, credit cards can no longer use the overdraft limit for real estate merchants' consumption, and the excess deposits of credit cards for transactions will not be affected. MCC codes involving merchants are as follows:

① Merchant MCC is 1520 (residential and commercial real estate developer), 70 13 (real estate agent), and 65 13 (property management), effective from 18 April.

② Merchant MCC is 177 1 (construction merchant), which came into effect at the end of May 2008.

③ The transaction of customers using excess deposits is not affected.
