How to calculate the detention fee for overdue repayment of China Merchants Bank?

If the CMB All-in-one Card is used as a debit account for a loan, if the repayment is not made in full and in time on the "debit date", an overdue record will be generated. In the event of overdue payment, penalties and interest will be incurred. From the date when the loan should be repaid, the system will repay the principal and interest of the overdue loan period by period according to the order of overdue time (in the order of compound interest, penalty interest, receivable and uncollected interest and overdue principal).

Penalty interest = overdue principal * penalty interest rate * number of overdue days;

Compound interest = overdue interest * penalty interest rate * number of overdue days.

Note: For the specific amount of penalty and compound interest, you can dial 95555 and select 3-3-9 to enter the manual service inquiry (service hours: 8:30-18:00 on working days).

If it is a China Merchants Bank credit card, as long as you repay the minimum amount of the bill before the due payment date, no liquidated damages will be incurred and your personal credit will not be affected, but recurring interest will be generated for the current period. All consumption will accrue interest from the recording date (usually the next day after consumption), with a daily interest rate of 0.05% until you pay it off in full.

Failure to repay the minimum payment on your bill in time will result in penalty fees and interest, and will affect your personal credit. The liquidated damages charge is 5% of the unpaid portion of the minimum repayment amount, with a minimum charge of RMB10 yuan or USD1 yuan. Interest will be charged on all consumption in the current period starting from the recording date (usually the next day after consumption), with a daily interest rate of 0.5% until you pay it off in full.
