1. Gold transactions between individuals are allowed, but gold recycling business is prohibited. Individuals who want to recycle gold must apply for a license issued by a financial management agency.
2. The consignment house cannot recycle the gold and can only sell it on its behalf. The consignment bank is a consignment bank entrusted by the owner of the item to sell it on his behalf. The two parties sign a relevant service agreement. According to the agreement, the consignment house does not have ownership of the item, but only has the right to manage the item during the consignment period, that is, the ownership of the item has not been transferred. The consignment house only charges a certain amount of service fee after the item is sold. No buyout or on-site lending.
Gold can be recycled through banks, pawn shops, and roadside shops. Compared with pawn shops and shops, bank prices are higher.
Among the self-operated branded gold bar businesses, most commercial banks offer repurchase business, but they mainly invest in gold bars. Investors buy these bank-branded gold bars, and as long as the gold bar products meet the relevant repurchase conditions, they can be sold to banks. Of course, different banks have different conditions and prices for gold bar repurchase. The prices are mainly linked to the International and Shanghai Gold Exchanges and will change every day.
Pawn shops do not have many restrictions on the types of gold they can buy back. Regardless of gold bars, gold bricks, gold necklaces and other jewelry, they all accept them. The procedure is also simple, and you can basically get them right away. At the same time, buying back gold in a pawn shop only requires simple testing and does not require melting. Investors need to note that the price of gold pawned by each pawn shop is different, and the method of collecting interest is also different.
