According to Article 9 of the Credit Card Charter of China Merchants Bank (Ninth Edition):

When applying for a credit card for the first time, the applicant shall fill in the application form correctly, completely and truthfully according to the regulations of the card issuer, sign it in person and submit the relevant certification documents required by the card issuer.

For the purpose of reviewing the applicant's credit card application or conducting subsequent risk management, the applicant agrees and authorizes the card issuer to know and inquire about its assets, credit status and personal credit information. China People's Bank Financial Credit Information Basic Database and other legally established credit reporting agencies and other relevant legal institutions provide relevant information and keep relevant information in the process of reviewing their credit card applications or conducting follow-up risk management.
