Overseas consumption with UnionPay cards can be used at merchants with the UnionPay logo. Overseas consumption handling fee: There is no handling fee for UnionPay cards. Non-UnionPay cards will charge international currency exchange handling fees when spending currencies other than US dollars or Japanese yen. VISA and MasterCard charge 1.5% of the transaction amount. JCB 1% of the transaction amount is charged.
