Hello, if you are going to apply for a China Merchants Bank credit card, the most important conditions are that you are 18-60 years old, have a stable job and income, and the necessary application documents are a copy of your identity certificate and a work certification document. If you can provide other supporting documents of financial resources, it will be more helpful for us to understand your personal situation and determine your credit limit.
If you are under 18 years old and your parents are planning to apply for or already hold a credit card from our bank, you can try to apply for our bank’s supplementary card. Supplementary cards are limited to the spouse, children, and parents of the principal cardholder. To apply, domestic applicants must be at least 14 years old, and overseas applicants must be at least 18 years old.
The supplementary card*** enjoys the credit limit of the main card, and its account is merged with the main card account and does not issue separate bills. Supplementary card points are accumulated in the name of the principal cardholder, and supplementary card repayments are credited to the principal card account.
Methods for card application:
Method 1: Apply for the main card and supplementary card simultaneously. Please check the supplementary card when applying. Please click /ccproduct/newcustomer.aspx to make an appointment to apply for a card immediately
Method 2: The main cardholder applies for an additional card for a relative
Please click /ccproduct/fushu.aspx To apply for an additional card online, please follow the prompts to print the online application form, sign it and mail it to our bank together with the identity document of the additional card holder.

If they are under 16 years old, they can provide a copy of their household registration book; overseas residents need to provide their passport or Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents.
