Resident health card (co-branded bank card) is jointly issued by Bank of China and the National Health and Family Planning Commission (hereinafter referred to as the "Health and Family Planning Commission"). It has the functions of resident identification, general medical treatment in hospitals across the country, and storage of personal basic information. Health information, carrying electronic medical records, New Rural Cooperative Medical System fund settlement and other medical and health functions, as well as bank savings card functions.
