When paying with a credit card on Taobao, when a refund is involved, the payment will be returned directly to the credit card. Refunds will not arrive immediately and will take 3-5 working days.

The credit card Taobao refund process is as follows:

1. The cardholder applies for a refund from the merchant.

2. The merchant agrees to refund.

3. The money will be refunded to Alipay first and frozen and shown as unavailable balance.

4. Alipay applies to the bank for a refund.

5. The bank will refund the money to the cardholder’s credit card.
