There is no annual fee for credit cards at first, but they will be charged from the second year. Some banks stipulate that the annual fee for the second year can be reduced if the card is swiped for a certain number of times in the first year. It is recommended that you activate your credit card after you apply for it. If you swipe your card enough times, you can avoid the annual fee. Some banks, such as China Bank, China Construction Bank, China Industrial and Commercial Bank, Bank of Communications and Agricultural Bank, will not charge an annual fee if their credit cards are not activated.
If it is not used for a long time, once it is activated, all the annual fees owed will be added in the first month. If you don't use a credit card, cancel it immediately to avoid unnecessary expenses.
