There is a certain handling fee for overseas credit card swiping. Different banks have different regulations on the handling rate of overseas credit card swiping. Most banks charge 1%-2% for overseas card swiping.

For example, the overseas credit card processing fees of China Construction Bank, China Merchants Bank, Industrial Bank, China Bank and Guangfa Bank are 1.5%, China Everbright Bank is 1.7%, Bank of Communications is 1.75% and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank is 2%. There are also a few banks, such as Huaxia Bank, which do not charge overseas credit card fees.
