Is the credit card overdue during the epidemic?
Four types of situations will not be reported.

The first category: hospitalized or isolated patients with new pneumonia. The second category: the prevention and control of epidemic situation needs to isolate observers. The third category: personnel involved in epidemic prevention and control. The fourth category: individuals and enterprises that have temporarily lost their sources of income due to the epidemic. Need to remind everyone that the above four types of people need to communicate with the bank in advance and upload relevant certificates, and the credit can only be adjusted after it is approved by the bank. Of course, if the staff involved in epidemic prevention and control don't have the time or opportunity to communicate with the bank in advance, they should feed back the relevant information to the bank in time afterwards, so as not to affect personal credit information due to overdue records.

The regulatory authorities require financial institutions to flexibly adjust the repayment arrangements of personal credit such as credit cards and reasonably postpone the repayment period. According to incomplete statistics, as of February 6th, more than 15 banks, including industry, agriculture, China, China Construction and Bank of Communications, have issued relevant policies to provide appropriate services such as extending repayment period, rescheduling repayment plans and credit protection for specific groups.

For those hospitalized or isolated people with new pneumonia, those who need isolated observers for epidemic prevention and control, those who have temporarily lost their livelihood due to the epidemic, financial institutions should appropriately tilt their credit policies, flexibly adjust personal credit repayment arrangements such as housing mortgage and credit card, and reasonably postpone the repayment period.

However, it needs to be clear that qualified personnel can extend their time. Only qualified people can enjoy the preferential policies provided by banks. For others, they still have to repay their credit cards on time. If you can't pay in full, you can apply for credit card installment or minimum repayment.

A number of banking institutions responded positively and adopted measures such as extending the repayment period of credit cards, exempting liquidated damages, and providing credit guarantee for specific personnel involved in the epidemic. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, Postal Savings Bank, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, China Guangfa Bank, Minsheng Bank, Zheshang Bank, Hubei Bank and other commercial banks. Provide appropriate services such as extending repayment period, rescheduling repayment plan, credit protection, etc. to medical staff and workers involved in epidemic prevention and control, confirmed patients, suspected isolated persons and their spouses, and those who are inconvenient to repay due to the epidemic and temporarily lose their sources of income. Some banks exempt credit card fines.
