1. Some banks need to make an appointment in advance to open an account. You can make an appointment with the branch directly through the website or telephone. Some banks also accept the same day when their business is not busy.

2. To open an account, you need to go in person, bring your passport, proof of address and confirmation letter from the school.

When filling out the application form, the bank staff will ask you some detailed questions, just answer them truthfully.

4. Generally, you won't get the card directly after opening an account, so you need to go home and wait for a letter. General bank cards and password cards will be sent within 1-2 weeks. After receiving these two, you can use them as long as you activate them on the internet or ATM.
