1. Telephone activation

The specific steps are: Dial: 95588 and turn to "6" for international card service. Select the required service language according to the voice prompts and press "3" to enter ICBC. 2. Counter activation

ICBC credit card holders can bring their valid ID, credit card and password letter to the counter of the local ICBC branch to open the card. The ICBC credit card can be activated on the spot by picking up the card at the ICBC Credit Card Center (not by mail). If you forget to bring your password letter with you when you go to a business outlet, you can do a "password reset" before opening the card (this service is free), and then activate the card.

3. Online activation

Log in to personal online banking from the official website of ICBC and enter "Peony Card Activation" under "Bank Card Services". Enter the card number, card validity period, cardholder name, ID number and other relevant information and click the Confirm button. Finally, set the credit card password and confirm to complete the ICBC credit card activation.
