The fact is that credit cards can be repaid in advance without paying the bill.
Usually, the repayment order of credit card is to pay the bill first, and then not to pay the bill. For example, China Merchants Bank's credit card, China Merchants Bank Credit Card Center stipulates that "China Merchants Bank will repay the cardholder in the order of billed and unbilled, and the billed and unbilled part will compensate the cardholder's account item by item according to the annual fee, interest, expenses, cash principal borrowed in advance or transfer transaction principal, and credit card consumption principal." What does this mean? Let me give you an example:
The cardholder's bill date is 25th, and the bill amount is 3000 yuan on April 25th. On April 27th, I spent RMB 1 1,000, and on April 28th, I withdrew RMB 2,000 (the withdrawal fee was 20 yuan, and the withdrawal interest was in the bill on May 25th). On April 30th, I intend to pay off the withdrawal amount. At this time, the amount that the cardholder needs to repay = 3000+2000+20 = 5020. This shows that if there are both paid bills and unpaid bills, the payment will be made first and the rest will be paid back.
In addition, if there are no outstanding bills, that is, the amount of outstanding bills is 0, the credit card is overpaid, which is called "overpayment" of the credit card. Usually, most banks charge a handling fee for taking out the credit card overpayment, which is usually called the handling fee for recovering the credit card overpayment.
I suggest that you'd better not pay the bill in advance. Because the credit card has an interest-free period, the overdraft amount during the interest-free period has no interest and can be used for a period of time for free. We can make full use of the 50-day interest-free period of credit cards, invest money in wealth management, and get income, which is more cost-effective than not repaying in advance. Of course, if the bill has been paid, remember to repay it in time before the due date, and be sure not to overdue it. If it is overdue, it will cause bad credit records and charge high overdue interest.
