How to activate a credit card can be done through the counter, phone, text message or credit card official account. Here we share the steps to activate the credit card official account.
1. Open WeChat on your mobile phone, take CITIC Credit Card as an example, search for CITIC Bank Credit Card as shown in the figure.
2. After paying attention, click on card opening and account checking in the lower left corner and select the service hall.
3. Next, click on card activation.
4. Fill in your ID number and credit card information.
5. Check the agreement and click Confirm to open the card.
6. The final page prompts that the credit card activation is successful, as shown in the example.
What are the credit card activation methods?
Credit card activation methods are generally divided into three types. 1. Credit card opening process by phone: Call the credit card’s 24-hour customer service hotline and follow the prompts. After selecting the Chinese service in the voice, select the credit card, enter the credit card, the validity period of the credit card and the three-digit security verification code on the back of the card. Select credit card activation and password settings, and then press the # key to end.

How to activate a credit card?
When you apply for a new card with China Merchants Bank Credit Card for the first time or if you have already used the card to change the card, you must receive the card and activate it within the validity period of the card. 1. Telephone manual: You can call the credit card customer service hotline and select 3#-1-3 to switch to manual or 4# voice card opening.
2. Mobile banking: After logging in to mobile banking, select "My → All → Credit Cards → Settings Management → Card Management → Credit Card Opening" (Applying for a credit card for the first time: Select "My → All → Credit Cards → Apply for a credit card→Open a card.)
3. Online banking: After logging into online banking (Public Edition or Professional Edition), click "Credit Card→Card Management→Credit Card Opening" and enter the information to open the card.

4. Palm Life: After logging in to Palm Life, select "My → Card Manager → One-click Card Opening" and enter the information according to the page prompts to apply for card opening.
