Wrong, the statement date is a fixed date specified by the bank. The billing date is not the time when the card is opened, nor is the billing date the first time the card is swiped.

The billing date and repayment date are written on the paper slip sent with the credit card.

If you lose the paper slip and forget the billing date or repayment date, you can call the credit card center to inquire (the phone number is on the back of the credit card).
