The repayment date is the latest date when the issuing bank requires the cardholder to repay the payable amount. Specifically, it refers to the expenses that the cardholder needs to pay before the repayment date (inclusive) after the bank bill date.
1. The credit card billing date is not the repayment date, not the same day. The billing date means that the issuing bank collects and settles all the transactions and expenses of your credit card account in the current period on a regular basis every month, calculates the total amount owed and the minimum repayment amount in the current period, and sends a statement for you. The repayment date refers to the latest date when the credit card issuing bank requires the cardholder to repay the amount payable. In other words, after the issuing bank issues the bill, you should pay off all the expenses you have consumed before the due repayment date.
2. Credit card bill date: The date when the bank mailed the credit card bill is your credit card bill date. Your credit card issuer will regularly summarize and settle the current transactions and expenses in your account every month, calculate the total amount owed and the minimum repayment amount in the current period, and then mail the current bill to you. Simply put, the bank tells you the details of your credit card consumption and the consumption in the past month.
3. Generally, the repayment date of credit cards issued by domestic banks can be modified. I suggest that you modify it according to your actual situation. For example, if the salary is paid at the beginning of the month, the repayment date of the credit card can be set at the beginning of each month. If the salary is paid in the middle of the month, it can be set in the middle of each month.
4. After the cardholder has successfully obtained a credit card at the bank and swiped it, the issuing bank will regularly settle and summarize the transactions in the credit card account every month, and calculate the interest of the credit card account, the total amount payable in this period and the minimum repayment amount. This date is the billing date of the credit card.
Note: The billing date of each credit card may not be the same. The billing date of a credit card is determined by the application time and approval time of the credit card.
