Whether you can apply for a China Merchants Credit Card without social security depends on the approval of the China Merchants Bank Credit Card Center. When ordinary workers apply for a credit card, the bank needs to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the applicant's work, income, credit and other aspects. The requirements for applying for a merchant credit card are:

1. The applicant should be between 18 and 60 years old (25 to 60 years old for foreigners), have certain financial ability and have a good credit record . The result of credit card application shall be subject to actual review by our bank.

2. Information: Our bank’s credit card application form, copy of the front and back of the ID card (foreigners: passport and residence permit or employment permit; Taiwanese: Taiwan Compatriot Card and Employment Permit; Hong Kong and Macao residents: return Township permit and employment permit/residence permit) and work certification documents issued by the unit.

3. Providing the following information will help to increase the credit limit, such as: copies of China Merchants Bank’s savings account slips in the past three months; original asset balance certificates of financial account opened by China Merchants Bank; copies of real estate certificates (Including my name) A copy of any utility invoice for the property in the past 3 months; a copy of my car driving license.
