In May 2006, our bank cooperated with Peking University to issue the Bank of China Peking University Credit Card. This product is a Bank of China VISA dual-currency credit card (RMB, US dollar magnetic stripe), which does not distinguish between Gold Cards. As the product life cycle continues to grow, existing regular card-level products can no longer match the status of Peking University alumni and do not have value-added services on the Peking University campus.
In 2015, in order to meet the card needs of Peking University, based on the existing Peking University credit card products, our bank launched the UnionPay version of the Platinum Card BOC Peking University Platinum Credit Card.
In 2018, in conjunction with the 120th anniversary of Peking University, our bank once again updated the Peking University credit card products, that is, from May 15, 2018 to December 31, 2018. The BOC Peking University Platinum Card (UnionPay) will be switched to the Peking University 120th Anniversary Edition Approval Card (UnionPay); in addition, in order to facilitate customers to use it overseas, a MasterCard version of the Peking University 120th Anniversary Edition Approval Card has been launched.
Peking University 120th Anniversary Edition Identification Card *** 2 products, namely: UnionPay version and MasterCard version. This card is a platinum card. The UnionPay version is our bank's Great Wall series of RMB single-currency credit cards, and the MasterCard version is only available on the MasterCard International network outside China and in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and does not support transactions with UnionPay online merchants. Domestic cash withdrawals and transfers will not be affected.
