Universal Studios Japan, referred to as USJ, is located in this flower district of Osaka, Japan.

In order to build this movie theater, Japan and the United States invested approximately 170 billion yen and spent 6 years on the project. All facilities in the park are either shipped from the United States or are completely customized to imitate "Universal Studios".

In 2010, USJ, the operating company of Universal Studios Japan, stepped up its efforts to attract tourists from mainland China. In addition to opening an office in Shanghai in January, the company also cooperated with the central and local governments of Japan to actively provide services to Chinese tourists. Regional TV series provide filming locations to build brand image among Chinese consumers.
