I bought a train ticket online with a credit card and then refunded it online. Why didn't the refunded money arrive on the card?
The refund time for spending by credit card (including online transactions) has the following provisions:

1. If the transaction fails, the money will be refunded to the original credit card within 1- 10 minutes.

2. If the transaction is successful, whether the merchant cancels the order or the credit card customer cancels the order, the money will be refunded to the original credit card within 3-7 working days.

Credit card refunds arrive at different times in different banks. The reason why it takes at least 3 working days for the refund to arrive at the account is that after the order transaction is successful, the banking system has generated the transaction record in real time and transmitted it to the UnionPay system in real time. When the merchant cancels the transaction, or the credit card customer cancels the transaction, the bank needs to wait for the UnionPay system to process the order information and feed it back to the bank before the bank can confirm that the order has been cancelled, and this feedback process takes at least 3 working days.
