The Metro supplementary card activation process is as follows:

After receiving the credit card, you can bring your valid ID, credit card and password letter to the counter of the local ICBC branch to open the card. Pick up the card at the local ICBC Credit Card Center (not by mail), and you can open the card on the spot.

Bank staff will guide you when opening a card at the counter. The process is very simple. Just fill in the form and submit the information to the staff. If you forget to bring the password letter with you when you go to a business outlet, you can "reset the password" before opening the card (this service is free), and then activate the card.

Other activation methods:

Customer service phone activation. The cardholder uses the phone number and mobile phone number filled in when applying for a credit card to access the ICBC customer service hotline to open the card. Dial: 95588 and dial "6" for international card services. Select the required service language according to the voice prompts and press "3" to enter ICBC credit card services. Then press "2" to enter "Card Enablement".

Follow the voice prompts and enter your credit card number, valid certificate (ID card) number and other personal information. After completing the identity verification, you can successfully open the card. After opening the card, you can set a consumption password.

Online banking activation. Log in to personal online banking from the official website of ICBC and enter "Peony Card Activation" under "Bank Card Services". Enter the card number, card validity period, cardholder name, ID number and other relevant information and click the Confirm button. Finally, set the credit card password and confirm to complete the ICBC Peony Credit Card opening.
