What is a credit record?
Personal credit reports can be inquired by individuals or organizations. According to the inquirer and the inquiry reason, the inquiry records can be divided into three types.

1. Neutral query records, for example, I check my own credit information, or the records queried by credit institutions for post-loan management reasons after loan approval.

2. Hard inquiry records usually refer to the records generated by the credit institutions when borrowers apply for business, such as credit card approval records when handling credit cards, loan approval records when handling loans, and guarantee qualification examination records when providing guarantees to people.

Credit institutions usually judge the borrower's credit information according to the type and time of inquiry records. There are many hard inquiry records such as general loan approval, credit card approval and guarantee qualification examination, and the short interval between each record means that the borrower's credit information is more expensive.

How often is the credit inquiry record updated?

How often the records of credit inquiry are updated mainly depends on the reporting time of credit institutions. Under normal circumstances, credit reporting agencies should report to the credit reporting system according to T+ 1. In other words, after receiving the borrower's application on the same day, it will be reported the next day and the credit information system will be updated on the same day. The exact time is uncertain.

For example, a borrower applied for a loan from a lending institution on September 9, and the lending institution inquired about the borrower's credit information on that day, and then reported it to the credit information system on September 10, and updated the credit information inquiry record on September 10.

Note that the inquiry records of the credit report will only show the records of the last two years.
