You can apply for a Bank of China credit card, but you still need to provide proof of employment and income, and your personal credit record is good and not overdue.

1. Application conditions

All Chinese citizens who are over 18 years old, have full capacity for civil conduct, have legal and stable income, and foreigners who have the right of residence in China and other conditions. Compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can apply for BOC credit cards locally.

2. Required information

1. Identity documents: Applications for primary cards from persons aged 18-65 and supplementary card applications from persons aged 16 and above are accepted.

(1) If you are a domestic resident: you need to provide a copy of your resident ID card or temporary resident ID card (both sides, within the validity period), or a copy of your military officer ID card.

(2) If you are a foreigner: you need to provide (1) a valid passport (2) a copy of the "Foreigner's Residence Permit" or the "Foreigner's Residence Permit" attached to the visa page of the valid passport A copy or a copy of the "Foreigner's Permanent Residence Permit".

(3) If you are from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan: You need to provide a copy of the "Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents" or the "Return Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Compatriots" or the "Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents".

2. Proof of fixed residential address (you can choose any of the following)

(1) Copy of household registration card (book)

( 2) The last three installments of water, electricity and gas bills

(3) The last three installments of fixed-line telephone bills

(4) The dormitory certificate issued by the unit

(5) House rental contract (agreement)

(6) Proof of own property

(7) Community property management fee payment receipt

(8 ) Proof of address issued by the street

(9) The last two credit card monthly statements or the personal income tax payment certificate for the last three months

(10) Can prove that he has a fixed residence Other supporting documents for address

3. Documents proving financial resources (you can choose any of the following)

(1) Documents issued by government agencies and enterprises in the past three months Formal salary stub or income certificate (need to be stamped with company seal or department seal)

(2) Copy of bankbook/bill of salary issued by the bank (need to show salary entry information in the last three months)

(3) Copy of personal income tax payment certificate for the last three months

(7) Copies of purchase receipts for funds, treasury bonds, and corporate bonds (need to show the purchaser’s name, account number and Account balance)

(8) Copies of membership cards, including: golf membership card, China Mobile, China Unicom VIP card, Air China Citizen Platinum Card, Gold Card, Silver Card membership card, China Southern Sky Pearl Card Gold and silver membership cards, China Eastern Miles Club gold and silver membership cards (name and card validity period must be displayed), etc.
