How has your life changed since you started using credit cards?

I applied for my first credit card to help a friend who worked in a bank complete a task, and I have been using it for more than four years now. The changes it brought to my life include the following aspects.

The first is the change in payment methods. In the past, the most important things you could not forget when going out were your mobile phone, wallet and keys. Don’t forget to pack cash in your wallet, otherwise you won’t be able to do many things. Since I have a credit card, especially one that is bound to a third-party credit card, it has become much more convenient to not have to carry cash in my wallet. As long as you have your mobile phone in hand, you can completely cope with any consumption, because in today's society, you will never forget to bring your mobile phone when you go out.

Secondly, there are changes in daily consumption. Since I got a credit card, I have learned that it has many promotions that can help us save a lot of money. For example, some credit cards allow you to buy movie tickets and reserve seats. Not only do you not have to queue in advance, but you can also enjoy VIP services, which is really comfortable. For example, when there is activity on your credit card, you can enjoy huge discounts when dining out at restaurants, which can save you a lot of money. So it’s worth checking your credit card activity frequently when you have nothing to do.

The third is the change in saving methods. In the past, the emergency reserve fund at home was kept in a regular passbook, and was withdrawn when it was needed urgently. However, most of the time, the money was just left there and not used. After we got a credit card, we used this fixed deposit as an emergency reserve fund to buy some funds for financial management to maximize the return on funds. When you need something urgently, just use a credit card and pay it back on time.

These are the changes that credit cards have brought to my life. If you don’t have a credit card yet, you might as well try one. It will definitely be a lot more convenient.
