Credit card opening does not have to be done at the bank. It mainly depends on the application method of the relevant user and the regulations of the card-issuing bank:
1. If the relevant user applies for the credit card at the bank counter , then you don’t need to go to the bank to open a card, because bank staff already know the customer’s identity when applying.
2. If the relevant user applies for a credit card online and it is the first card, then most banks will require the applicant to go to the bank to apply for a card, mainly to prevent someone from pretending to claim the credit card.
