How to deal with a frozen credit card

1. If the cardholder has not paid off the credit card balance, Pay off the money in time, call the bank customer service and explain the situation truthfully. If there is no reason for the bank to freeze the credit card, the credit card will usually be unfrozen.

2. If the bank customer service requires the cardholder to hand over the card payment receipt, the cardholder did not save the card payment receipt during the card payment process. You can tell customer service truthfully and apply for a reduction, and then you can swipe your card normally and repay on time.

If the customer service says that it cannot be unfrozen and asks the cardholder to cancel the card, remember, do not cancel the card!

3. After the card is canceled, the cardholder’s overdue repayment record will remain there until it is eliminated after 5 years. After the cardholder has paid off the balance, he can deposit money and swipe the card. After 3 to 6 months, he can then apply for an unfreeze from the bank. The bank may automatically unfreeze it for you during this period.
