1. In order to further improve the security of card use and effectively prevent the risk of counterfeit cards, Bank of Communications will upgrade UnionPay magnetic stripe credit cards one by one and replace them with UnionPay chip cards from May 30, 20 15.

2. After the expiry of UnionPay magnetic stripe credit card (card number starts with 62), Bank of Communications will replace you with a new UnionPay chip credit card for free.

3. UnionPay magnetic stripe credit card will be reissued (reported loss) after May 30th, or the bank will apply for a new card due to card damage. We will also arrange for you to change to a UnionPay chip credit card, and the related fees are the same as the original magnetic stripe credit card.

4. After the original magnetic stripe credit card is replaced by a chip card, you can still enjoy the same functions and rights as the original magnetic stripe credit card, and at the same time, you will have the functions of contactless payment and electronic cash, which can provide you with a more convenient and fast payment experience.
