According to the credit status of the applicant, the card issuing institution decides whether to issue a card, whether to require the applicant to provide a guarantee and the way of guarantee, and determines the way and type of obtaining a card, the credit limit of the approved account, the overdraft interest rate of the approved account and the minimum repayment ratio. Application materials that have not been approved by the card issuer will not be returned.
IC cards of some card issuers not only support credit card accounts, but also support electronic cash accounts. Electronic cash account has all or part of the functions of electronic cash account transactions, such as small quick payment, balance inquiry and recharge, but it does not have other payment and settlement functions, such as overdraft, transfer and cash withdrawal.

According to Article 13 of the Credit Card Charter of China Merchants Bank (Ninth Edition):
After receiving the credit card, the cardholder shall immediately sign the same signature as the application form in the signature column on the back of the credit card, and use the same signature when using the credit card transaction, otherwise the losses arising therefrom shall be borne by the cardholder, unless otherwise agreed between the cardholder and the card issuing institution or stipulated by the accepting institution or bank card organization.
Some specially designed cards don't need to be signed on the back of the credit card, but they can be used normally after a password is set. The cardholder can set the password through the channel designated by the card issuer.
The applicant shall provide accurate, complete, true and effective information to the card issuer, and the application information without name or identity document information is invalid.
