Ctrip Hotel Deductions for No Shows

Because when rooms are in short supply, in order to reduce noshows and ensure guests' normal check-in, a credit card guarantee is required. If guests fail to check in as booked, Ctrip will deduct all or part of the room fee. Situations that generally require a guarantee include:

a. Peak tourist seasons or popular scenic spots;

b. Hotels during exhibitions or national holidays;

c. The retention time exceeds the hotel limit, etc.

d. It is the practice of overseas hotels that in order to ensure the normal check-in of guests, all hotels need to provide a credit card guarantee. If the guest fails to check-in as booked, all or part of the room fee will be deducted according to the booking terms.

If you do not have a credit card, you can also use the credit card of a family member or friend as a guarantee. The guarantee will be automatically released after you check in as booked, and the room fee will still be paid at the hotel front desk. If you do not check in as booked after guaranteeing, the room fee for the unshown portion will be deducted from the guaranteed credit card.
