China Everbright Bank was established in August, 1992. It is a subsidiary of China Everbright Group, a ministerial company directly under the State Council, and a product of China's reform and opening up. Headquartered in Beijing, it is a financial enterprise approved by the State Council and China People's Bank to provide customers with comprehensive commercial banking products and services. 1997 1 completed the shareholding system reform and became the first national joint-stock commercial bank in China with state-owned shares and shares of international financial organizations.
